Found the Coolest Site tonight click here to check it out. It's called 99 rooms and its one of the most unique sites I have ever seen! Each room is different and the fun is finding your way to the next room, but don't go too fast as stuff happens while your trying to find your way out...

7/30/04 What's new on Surfwearz.com?

Been working on a few new Fractals. I really liked how this one came out.

Please tell me what you think? It started out as just the purple fractal in the center. First the star layer was added with a Flaming Pear filter called Glitterato, the next step was the eraser tool to bring back the fractal and the ray coming from its bottom, the planet was added with another filter called Lunar Cell. To make it move I used Gif Movie Gear and walla! You Got The World On A String!

The Limited edition page has begun. Hope you all enjoy my 1st 2 choices.
"A Day At The Beach" started from a photo I took on the Venice Pier facing north towards Santa Monica. It wasn't an easy painting. One of those I started a few times and restarted again before I got the colors just right. This final version came out pretty good, if I do say so myself! What do you think???

Almost done moving this site from 0catch.com the previous host. Just had to get it out of there! Couldn't believe the under handed advertising they were putting on this site! The final straw was the ad that made you think your computer was hit with a virus, and it was just an advertisement for virus protection! Please accept my apologies!! I had no idea of how bad it had gotten. No amount of free web space is worth all that! Now I'm paying to have this site up but it's well worth it to have NO advertisements, and no surprises! I should have all the links and pictures working again in a couple of days.

Working too many hours and it always seems there's never enough hours in a day! Well I'm back! Here's a picture I made last night of my bird Al.

Couldn't just post a regular picture! Will be working on this one to somehow hide the hand and have him sitting on something a little more interesting. Got any ideas? Please e-mail me!

12/1/03 What's new on Surfwearz.com?

Just finished Planet Sunset Very pleased with the results. This one started out as a very dull cloudy picture of a surfer off the Venice Pier. I tried many filters to give it an enriched color scheme, but it still just didn't do it. So I tried something a little different! With the 1st copy I did a real deep orange color filter and with the 2nd copy I did a turquoise filter. With the turquoise one, I used the pencil drawing filter then cut it in half, saving only the ocean. Then I pasted the turquoise ocean over the orange ocean and walla! This totally changed the whole feeling of the piece. Next I used a Paint Shop Pro Filter called Lunar cell to make the planet. If you like filters go to Flaming Pear to purchase, there really cool and I use them all the time.

Went to check out finished site on another computer, and 1/2 my images didn't open! Now that I have moved them, to this sites directory, they seem to be working again! If you can link to another page on another site with no problems, why won't it work for pictures????? Think I have all the major kinks worked out now....

Just finished Rainbow Fantasy Sun Print. Liked it so much I also made a Christmas card with the design. Funny how a design that I almost gave up on is now one of my favorites!

SITE IS PUBLISHED!

It wasn't easy, took several different FTP programs before I found the one that worked. (The program I used to make this site didn't!) I don't want to name names, but it had the number 7 in it??? I must admit it really makes a pretty site, BUT, the publish site options, do not work! I have NEVER had a problem publishing a site before! I spent way too much, on a program that slowed down the whole design process, and then wouldn't publish! As I update this site, it may look totally different then it does now. I am going back to writing my own html, and using a great program called evrsoft 1st page 2000. A program I got for free at www.evrsoft.com. Try it, you'll like it.

Really getting into Fractals. Did one last night I really like, Alien Sting ray It has the feeling of Star Trek meets the Ocean. Hard to explain but now I can tell this site will also have a section for Fractal Fantasy Designs.

Just finished basic site layout! This process has taken over a month of trial and error! Still want to add a Banner page. Visitors can choose from several banners, to put on their sites, to link to mine. Fooling around with gif sizes to find the right balance between fast load and great image quality. I really like moving banners, do you think it's worth their size? Setting up product pages as fast as I can! Hope to publish by October 20, 2003! I am so excited!!!
